The oldest temple in Bangkok which houses the biggest reclining Buddha statue that measures 45 meters long. The image is gold plated with inlays of mother of pearl in the feet. The temple is also one of the oldest learning school for Thai massage. Some shops inside also offer palm reading. Wat Phra Chetuphon, the local name of the temple, is located near the Grand Palace so it can be visited on the same day. Observe appropriate clothing as this temple is considered with reverence by the Buddhists.

Entrance fee: 50 THB. Bring extras for wishing pots!

Opening Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, with a break from 12 pm to 1 pm, Daily

Location : 2 Sanamchai Road, Bangkok 10200 Thailand The entrance to Wat Pho is on Chetuphon road. It is 10-15 minutes ride away from Grand Palace
