Singapore Airlines was founded in 1947, originally as Malayan Airways. Some of its crafts operates trans-Pacific flights including two of the world's longest non-stop commercial flights from Singpore to New Jersey and Los Angeles, CA. It is the first airline in Asia and the third in the world to be awarded by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) with the IOSA an audit for operations safety.
