Shanghai Museum

A four storey building that houses the most numerous collection of Chinese artifacts amounting to about 120,000 of rare and precious pieces. On exhibit are several paintings, sculptures, calligraphies,furnitures of the Ming and Qing Dynasty, and some Jade and bronze artworks. By far, it is the biggest and most comprehensive museum in China.
Open Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays-Fridays, Saturdays, closing time extends to 8 pm. Closing time is strictly observed.No more entry allowed an hour before closing.
Fees: Adults- 20 RMB and children and students -5 RMB. Audio tour is available in English for 60 RMB
