  • Documents-Foremost if you are traveling abroad, you need to have a passport. Also, some countries will require visa depending on the length of stay and if your country of origin has diplomatic connection with the country you are planning to visit.Usually, if they have, you will be allowed 21 days without a visa.
  • Transportation- You will need extra money from the airport to your accomodation and to go around to other places
  • Entrance fees and passes- Some museums, recreation centers, or resorts may charge a minimal fee so keep some loose change handy.
  • Souvenirs- It is either for yourself or for some loved ones and friends but you definitely will want something to remember you vacation

Getting a package Tour or Do-it-Yourself
Contacting an agency and arranging for a package tour can save you some hassles.Foremost, your time and effort, because they will be the one arranging for your flight, accomodation, itineraries, and some even offer document processing. Some packages also include bus rides or transfers and meals. You may as well save on money because you can already forsee the expenses for your vacation. They may also get you discounts because of their connections and the fact that you are traveling with a group.

There are disadvantage to getting a package though. For once, your vacation may lack flexibility. Some itineraries have to be done on schedule or you miss it out. There is no 100% guarantee also that it will be hassle free. You may still experience delays or misunderstanding once you are in your place of destination. Also,if you are budget-wise, you may even save more of your money because usually travel agencies will book you with their associated hotels and lodges which may still be expensive though discounted.
