Nong Nooch Tropical Garden - offers garden views with fountains and orchids. Elephant shows and dance performances are held every now and then. Ko Larn(Coral Island) - a more peaceful piece of sand and shoreline compared to South Pattaya that can be reached with a speedboat in 20 minutes. Beach is much much cleaner also and you can do all the activities you do in Pattaya beach but add to it snorkeling and banana boat riding.
Jomtien Beach Although not as nice as Ko Larn, it is more conducive for swimming than Pattaya Beach with less jet skiers. Can be reached also faster and cheaper than Ko Larn.
Shopping Spree
Mike Shopping Mall - this mall provides 5 floors for shoppers' needs all under one roof. RTWs, electronics, toys and souvenirs are some things to be seen. Location is between Soi 11 and 12.
Royal Garden Plaza - operated by JW Marriott Group, this mall houses theaters, a gaming zone, the Ripley's, some restaurants and shops selling international brands of products as well as local handicrafts. It is located in the Centre of Pattaya, along the Beach Road.

Five and Four Stars
Hardrock Hotel Pattaya - faithful to its name, they have various collection of rock and roll items. Rooms are also themed on such. Liked by many for pool and manmade lagoon. Location is along Beach Rd, near Pattaya central Rd. You may check their website at www.hardrockhotelpattaya.com
Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel - a luxury hotel with a beach front and a free form pool, easy accessibility to the city center by tuktuk ride. It is a walking distance to/from Pattaya Centrum. You may check their website at pattaya.dusit.com.

Dining Places
Street Food - just like any Asian nation, food street is also abundant in Pattaya. Exotic as bugs, roaches and scorpions can be found amongst them too. However if you are disgusted wih bugs, you have a choice of BBQ's and other stuff on a stick, kabab sandwiches, and noodles. You can find their stalls along Soi 7 & 8, 2nd road.
Nang Nual Seafood & Steaks - The name itself implies their specialty but menu enlists also other Thai and Chinese food. Location is along the partyline of the Walking Street.
Bob's BBQ & Grill - Famous for their burgers and their unique Slow Smoked Texas BBQ. Offers Sports TV shows everyday and night as added factor to draw attention of expats and locals. Location is on South Pattaya Rd. between the TOT Intl. Phone Company and the 3rd road junction opposite Soi Rungland .
