Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes
Jeju island is the largest island in South Korea. Its lava tubes gives it great significance for scientific research as well as a tourist destination. Kaziranga National Park
The refuge of the Great One-horned Rhinoceros. The Kaziranga National Park is one of the few last refuge of the endangered Indian rhinos, housing two-thirds of its entire population in the world. It also has the largest population of tigers compared to other protected areas. Kinabalu Park surrounds the tallest mountain in South-east Asia, Mt. Kinabalu. The site is very rich in flora, popular among which is the pitcher plant and orchids. Komodo National Park
The Komodo National Park houses the komodo dragon, the ultimate lizard species. The komodo dragon can only be found in the Indonesian areas.
