Home of the highest peak of Southeast Asia, Kinabalu has been known as the "Land Below the Wind". Aside for the grand height of the mountain and the various life forms found around it, Kinabalu also offers a bustling townlife with various tribal villages offering an excellent cultural education. It also serves as gateway to the rest of Sabah. The shorelines also offer a wonderful beach experience and nearby river is a natural roller coaster adventure for rafters.

Shopping Spree

Handicraft Market - for local souvenirs, some handicrafts, shirts, key chains, and even dried shrimps and anchovies

Center Point - a mall where one can find some shops, eateries and handicraft stalls. location is at the corner of Jalan Sapuloh/ Duapuloh and Lebuhraya Pantai Baru.

Warisan Square a mall where you may find shops of branded and designer's products as well as restaurants of various cuisine. Location is at the corner of Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens and Jalan Duapuloh.

Gaya Street - turns into a market on Sundays where one may enjoy crowd and crafts. It is also a good place to find cheap souvenirs and you can haggle for the price.

Night Market -like any typical Asian country, street food is in abundance with choices of BBQ chicken wings, grilled seafood

Sri Melaka - offers reasonable priced meals in good servings. Location is at J. LAIMAN DIKI, left side if you have your back to the waterfront.

Port View Seafood Village - A bit expensive but popular so expect it to be crowded sometimes. Located opposite the Centre Point Mall.

Grazie Italian Ristorante & Pizzeria Cafe - name is suggestive of their cuisine. A special dish is featured monthly to give customers a new authentic Italian experience.
