Indonesia's Railways
From Wikiasiantravel
Majority of the rail transport in Indonesia is located in Java, with lines running the length of the island. Sumatra also has two separate regions where railways are utilized, in the north around Medan, and the other at the southern tip. Some of this are the locomotives that dates back to the colonial period of the Dutch. Monorails are still being constructed and more plans are being made for further expansion. Jakarta is connected to the following regions:

- Serpong
- Bekasi
- Karawang
- Cikampek
The major rail stations are the following:
- Gambir
- Jatinegara
- Pasar Senan
