Hue was the former imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty. The development of such times was good that to these days and it can be seen in the structures and monuments.

Five and four stars
Saigon Morin Hotel - great building and location. Warning is given though for your valuables. If necessary, request for safe box.
Huong Giang Hotel - A bit old fashioned with design although it has been renovated. Rooms on the back side have balconies where can can have a good view of the river.

Thanh Noi Hotel- great location if you are planning to visit the Citadel.
Dining Places
Fuji Japanese Restaurant - First class Japanese dining in Imperial Hotel. A western dining set is available though if you are not comfortable with low tables. Prices are also on the high end.
Club Garden Restaurant - a sister restaurant of the Tropical Garden Restaurant. Same great food but ambiance in the Club is more serene while the Tropical is more into merry making and loud music. Located at 12 Vo Thi Sau street with Tel.# 054 826-327.
Phuong Nam Cafe - serves Vietnamese cuisine and good spring rolls. Located in 38 Tan Cao Van St., with tel. # 054-84-9317.
The Temple Restaurant - a taste of local cuisine at a good price with a little cozy ambience. It located near the Perfume River at 05 Chu Van An Street, Hue, Vietnam with tel. # 84 54 830716
