It's 5 mile long beach had long been known and visited by local and foreign travelers. Its resorts had served as relaxing getaway from the modern and fast paced city of Bangkok. Currently, the golf areas are being developed and are still offering the lowest rates in the world. Most resorts have access to the beach.

Sofitel Centara Grand Resort, Hua Hin - good feedback for service, food, the hotel structure and amenities, location and its garden lawn and pool. Address is at 1 Damnernkasem Rd., Hua Hin 77110 Thailand
Hyatt Regency Hua Hin - a beach front resort with luscious garden and fantastic pools. Address is at 91 Hua Hin - Khao Takiap Rd, Hua Hin 77110 Thailand.
Budget Lodge
Takiab Beach Resort - beach is a walking distance although no sea view is offered among its rooms because another hotel is in front of it. RAted two stars and is well worth the price. Address is 33/5 - 6 Baan Huadon, Nongkae, Hua Hin, Prachuabkhirikhan Thailand
Other Sights
- Temples and Shrines - Khao Takiab Temple is the most known although there are several dotting Hua Hin.
- Fish Pier - offers one good insights on the livelihood of the local people as well as fresh sea air
- Seaview Safari - a misleading name as this isn't by the beach. You get a chance to ride elephants.
- Rama VI Palace - right near the beach European style strongly influences the architecture.
Night Market - find one at Decha Nuchit Road where you can buy handcrafts, food, and other products.
