How to upload pictures or files

Please understand that owner of pictures have property rights over their pictures unless it is contributed to public domain. Most often, licensing is provided under Creative Common. Pictures uploaded can have several attribution- that is the requirement usually provided by the owners like the need to put their name, not to use the picture for commercial purposes, not to do editing on the pictures and many other. For the benefit of convenience most of Wikiasiantravel photos are from public domain or have a BY: attribution which is explained in Attribution 2.0 License . Pictures that have copyrights reserved for the owners need the permission of the owner and should be posted with a corresponding notice. After reading the details below, click on the Upload File on the toolbox at the left side box and you are ready to start uploading. (Tip): it is good to open the Upload page in another window so that you can have a copy of this page as you upload.

For the summary or details of the picture the following template can be used. Highlight and copy paste on the summary box.
