Forest of Stone Steles

Since it's existence for 900 years, it had become a safekeeping refuge for much of China's history and wisdom for various dynasties. It houses several stone slabs or steles where caligraphy has been etched.

Open Hours: 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. (Summer)

8 a.m. to 6 p.m.(Winter)

Location: Sanxue Street, near the south gate of Xian City Wall

Getting there: bus routes # 14, 402, 239

Fees: CNY 45 (Mar. to Nov.)

CNY 30 (Dec. to Feb)
