It can take two to seven days to trek Chiang Mai traversing forested mountain, valleys, and meadows either on foot, boat or raft, elephant’s back, horse-back or jeep, depending on the kind of combination you may choose. It would be good to get a travel and tours agency so that you are assured your guide is registered with the Tourist Police. Some packages already includes food and accomodation. Several hilltribes can also be visited during the trip and you will be accomodated for the night in their villages. Beautiful sights of greeneries, cool waters of the falls, mineral rich water of hot springs, and an enjoyable river ride awaits you reckoning.
